Happy THIRD birthday Paxon!

I am still a bit in denial that my baby is THREE! Paxon turned three on June 15th and he had been talking about it for months! He would tell everyone, "My birthday is June 15th!" And then go on to tell them that he would be three and tell them what kind of cake or party he was having. That sometimes changed, but one thing that never changed was what he wanted for his birthday. He wanted GOLF CLUBS! Of all things a three year old would want...Pax wanted those. And red ones to be more specific. Pax is a sporty kid. He loves baseball, soccer, basketball, and REALLY loves golf. Averie has a little set of clubs that he would take outside every day, on his own, and practice hitting balls with. He cries when Trevor goes golfing because he thinks he should go too. So I decided to do a golf-themed party for him this year. My friend Brittany made up some really cute prints for me to go along with the food I had planned and we had a couple cute little games planned as well. I had SO much fun planning his party and he had such a great day! We had his party in the morning and then after a quick nap we headed to the pool for the rest of the day, and then out to eat. I'm pretty sure he felt like the most loved kid in the world!

The food: Links (little smokies), Bogie balls (round cheetos), Water hazard (water bottles), Hole in one (doughnuts), Birdie bites (pretzels), Watermelon Wedges (watermelon wedges..), and the cupcakes were decorated with green frosting (grass) and a flag with a "P" or a "3" and a white Sixlet next to it (the golf ball next to the tee). It turned out super cute!

We had a little sign out front showing where to find the "Bybee Golf Club"

We played two games, the first was the "Long Drive Contest" where they tried to see who could hit the golf ball the farthest. Then we played the "Closest to the Pin Challenge,"  a modified "Pin the Tail on the Donkey" where they tried to get the golf ball closest to the hole.
