April! Such a fun month! We celebrated Easter and my birthday, and the weather was starting to warm up a little bit so that was nice too!
Averie had cowboy/cowgirl day at pre-school so she got her hair done in braids and even got to wear a little lipstick for the occasion. Isn't she the cutest cowgirl EVER?
The Easter Bunny was a HUGE hit....with Averie. Pax on the other hand, wanted NOTHING to do with that dang bunny other than to give him a quick and cautious fist bump while being held by dad. He did, however, like the bunny ears he earned for "sitting" on the bunny's lap. He took off on a dead run for mom as soon as they sat down next to the bunny. So funny!
Pax got in trouble for acting up in sacrament meeting on Sunday, so he went into a room and into time out. I don't know any other two year old that actually STAYS in time out until mom and dad say it's ok to come out, but Pax sure does!
Pax decided he LOVES green smoothies-and who can resist taking a picture of a smoothie-stash?
Averie and Pax LOVE to wrestle...that is until you're the one getting pinned. Pax liked this for about two seconds before screaming for me to rescue him from big Sis.
Averie played soccer again in the Spring and daddy got to coach again, which they both loved! There was a lot less crying this season and a lot more playing. She LOVES soccer, and really is pretty good too!
My birthday! It was a great day! Trevor and I went up to Idaho Falls to watch the Bar J Wranglers perform (SUCH a fun show!) and went out to dinner at Dave's BBQ. I also got a dozen roses and felt pretty special that day! Here's to turning 28!
