April was such a fun, busy month! Paxon started walking when he was just about to be ten months old. (Very end of march, beginning of April). He got even more busy than ever before and wanted to learn and get into everything! I found him in the bathroom, in the shower, in this picture below. So cute (and wet!).
Paxon-8 Months
Averie- 3 1/2 years
| My sweet Grandma Persis turned 96 years old. She loved nothing more than being around those great-grandkids, and let Averie decorate her hair with flowers for her birthday. |
| From the time Averie was born, she and Grandma Persis shared a very special bond. Averie loved to go play in the "clubhouse" with Grandma, aka Grandma's room. Happy birthday to a very special woman whom we all love SO much! |
| Time out. In the corner. Works wonders. :) |
| Grandma could barely get herself up off the floor, but despite my encouragement to stay off the floor she got down and played with Averie for over an hour. She would do anything for that little gal! |
| Poor Grandma got confused in the night after going to the bathroom and went into the wrong room. She went to sit down on her bed (that wasn't there) and fell, breaking her right wrist. Poor Grandma! |
| Paxon walking with his little push-along toy. |
| Riley Glenn Sayer (my brother's youngest) was baptized by his Dad and we were able to attend and be a part of this exciting event in his life. Riley brings light and laughter into any room he is in. He is smart, funny, and says the wildest things sometimes. I love him. |
| For family night we took Aves and Pax(who sat and watched) bowling. Averie had the time of her life! |
| Our little stud in his Sunder attire. |
| Took Paxon and Aves over to my mom's to visit Grandma Persis-as you can see Pax and Grandma were the life of the party. :) |
| Paxon is a VERY happy child, 99% of the time. But when he is mad, he has the HIGHEST pitch, loudest cry/scream ever. AND the cutest cry face too. |
| Averie's first ever soccer game started out great. She was so excited and ready to go! |
| It was freezing outside! Aves and her friend Haily snuggled up on the sidelines and Averie really thought it was too cold to go out and play. |
| She stood there much of the time. Crying. Or whining. She DOES NOT like the cold. |
| By the end of the night, she'd HAD IT. Lots of tears, crying, and begging for warm pajamas to warm her cute little self up. |
| Ended with this. Sleeping angels with dolly in her arms to make her feel better. Better luck next game. :) |
| Paxon's cute little bum. |
| Now that he can walk, he's going to get into EVERYTHING he can. And if he can't...well he will find a way. |
| Sleeping with his little bum in the air. Had to catch a pic of this one. |
| Like his Daddy, he sleeps with his eyes open. |
| Mommy's little man! (Yes, I do look 14 here, I know) |
| "Say what??" |
| So I may have also gotten ahold of my dad's fingernails, while he was peacefully taking a nap on the recliner. I thought I was hilarious. So did my mom. My dad, after an hour without knowing it was there, was cursing up a storm upon the discovery of his pretty pink nails. Followed by more cursing when he realized my mom owns NO fingernail polish remover. Nothing a good old bottle of Acetone from the garage can't remove though! |
| Daddy and his loves. |
| Playing peek-a-boo with Papa! One of Paxon's FAVORITE people ever. Best buddies from the beginning! |
| Wrestling match in Grandma Persis' room. |
