Pax at two months

 "Paxon is an amazing baby. He has huge, beautiful eyes that are always alert and looking up at me. He is extremely calm and rarely fusses. When he does cry, it is a cute, high pitched scream that you would never expect could come from him. He is very cuddly."

"He started smiling at 5 weeks old and at first Trevor didn't believe me because Pax always did it when Trev wasn't looking. Then he started smiling for Trevor and so he finally believed me. Pax has the most amazing, sweet little smile with a dimple on his right cheek-the same one Averie has. Sometimes he will just be sitting in his little swing smiling to himself and that is one of the sweetest things to see. He does a little laugh every once in a while too and nothing makes me smiles more."

*LOVES his swing. He will sleep for hours in it. He loves to be held and hates being put down, but he will let you if it's in his swing. 

*Very happy baby! Always seems content. 

*Has BIG round eyes...people always comment on his beautiful eyes.

*Loves to be outside, and has beautiful tan skin like his dad and sister.

*Gets dressed up by his sister occasionally....in bows and crowns. :)

Averie is protective of her baby brother. If she ever gets jealous, which isn't too often, she doesn't take it out on Paxon but instead says, "Mom, Paxon wants to go to Daddy now." We get the hint and she gets mommy time. :) She loves to snuggle her brother and if he cries she immediately wants to take care of him. When Pax was crying in the car Averie was talking to him trying to cheer him up. She said to him, "Oh Honey! It's okay! When we get home Mama will feed you. Honey! You have a fever! Sometimes, when I get sick, I get a fever. But remember what the doctor said? NO more monkeys, jumping on the bed!" (He had no fever.....haha!) She loves that brother of hers. 

Averie's Third Birthday Party

Averie turned three on August 29th, 2012. We had her birthday party up at Larry's house. She had a princess cake (made by mommy) and had a fun day spent with friends and family. She got a little grumpy mid-party and had a little cry-fest. (Couldn't help but take a few pics of that as well.) But hey, you know what they say...."It's my party, and I'll cry if I want to!"

She got dress up clothes, barbies, princess backpack, an alligator tooth toy, building blocks, play doh, and more. She got spoiled!

Averie at age three: Aves is developing quite the attitude and is definitely a "strong-willed" child. She is very sweet though and already shows a strong sense of compassion, especially towards her brother. She is a mommy's girl and hates when I have to go to work. She is very sensitive and if she gets her feelings hurt she knows how to pout really well. She's very helpful and loves to spend quality time with mom and dad. She loves to be outside and is a girly girl through and through. She loves to color and do crafts.
