My favorite subject to talk about.....Averie! Our baby girl is getting too big too fast! I can't believe she is NINE months already, almost TEN!! I haven't posted in a while on her, so bear with me while I reveal all the fun stuff. :)
*Averie is doing some serious CRAWLING, but her favorite thing to do is STAND AND CRUISE around everywhere. She can't quite do it without something to hold onto, but I think that walking is just around the corner. The best part is when I go to get her up in the morning and she is standing in her crib, smiling up at me.....my gosh, can you get any cuter??
*Averie eats three big meals a day PLUS milk. She is a chunk still but now that she is more mobile she is getting a bit narrower. :) She weighed 20 pounds at eight months, and weighed 20 pounds again at nine. So she has slowed down a bit finally(weight wise....).
*Averie LOVES board books, bath time, anything with buttons, watermelon, being naked, being outside, the movie UP, talking constantly (mama, dada, mmm=milk), mornings, going for walks, grandma and grandpas, OTHER BABIES, being tickled, water, bubbles, blowing on our skin so it makes noises, playing with her feet, bouncing, laughing, and most of all, mommy and daddy. The feeling is MUTUAL!
*Averie has THREE TEETH!!! Two on the bottom, one on the top, and one on the way. She had a pretty rough time with teething pain but she was a trooper as always.
*Averie DOES NOT LIKE getting dressed, getting her finger/toe nails clipped, diaper changes, having to go to bed, teething, apples, bonking her head on the coffee table, holding still, or car drives lasting more than 2 hours...
*Averie went swimming for the first time when we were in Oregon this past week. She loved it! She didn't like her head under the water much but didn't cry at all. Just pulled a funny face afterward. She was a little nervous but handled it well.
