Our sweet Averie Lynn turned five on August 29, 2014. She had a great day and got spoiled to pieces! Averie is one of the most passionate, sweet, loving girls ever. She loves life and loves people and can make friends with almost anyone. She is very active and loves to craft. She loves singing, being outside, coloring and drawing, and being with friends. She is a natural leader and is a nurturer. She weighs 37 pounds 6 oz and is 41 inches long. She is argumentative, like her mom was at her age, and a very determined and strong-willed child but also does not like to get into trouble and isn't a rebellious kid. She loves to learn and is always asking for help learning to write and read and do "school" things. She will be SO ready for kindergarten in the Fall of 2015! She's not in preschool this year because she was too old for it, but we held her back a year so that she would be the oldest rather than the (very) youngest in her class. Mom's okay with having her around for an extra year!!!
We got Averie a bike for her birthday this year. While she was sleeping I decorated the living room with lots of balloons, a "Birthday Princess" sash, a sign, and presents. The balloons provided all-day entertainment for Aves and Pax.

That evening we had a few friends over for cake and ice cream.
She got a homemade strawberry cake as requested!
